Answering Questions

A.    I've watched a movie recently, and the movie was "Nerve." I really liked it. It's about Vee, a girl, joining the Dare Game called "Nerve," because she got into a fight with some friends and got tired of living. I like the story because she met a guy and played Nerve with him, but the game kept getting worse so they had to find ways to shut it off. I think it was exciting because it's mysterious.

B.   I think it would be better for me if I don't sleep in class and start preparing for tests, because I hate studying or reading. I hope the covers of books could motivate me in reading them.

C.   Sports help us do things much more flexibly. Sports make us think more because you have to think of tactics. For example, when you have a basketball competition, you'll think of ways or strategies to win the game. Sports make us agile.

D.   Actually, I don't know if instruments help us become better at learning other languages. I've learnt how to play piano and violin. When I started learning Spanish this year, I think it was not so hard but not easy.

E.   Anything's fine for me, but I think I will go with saying no, because I don't like using PDF files to read things.

Comparison between Waverly's and Ender's Games

Waverly played a chess game, but the real game was between her mom. Her adversary was her mother. If her mom supported her and don't go showing Waverly off, she might play the "game'' better. She won't have to think her mom is annoying if her mom could express herself to Waverly to let her know why her mom is megalomaniac.
In the Ender Game story, everyone seems to be lying to him, and he doesn't believe in anyone even adults. If the adults who lie to him actually be good friends with him and tell him the things about themselves, Ender would probably be better and feel more comfortable when at the battle school an other places. They could also tell him about their feelings. The difference between Ender and Waverly is that they play different games, and their opponents are different, too. I think these are the differences between their games.

Ender's Game

Link to Ender's Game wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ender%27s_Game
  (1)  Well, there are some differences between the movie and the Ender's Game book.  The story began with describing Ender when he was six, but the movie just started with the scene when he was playing a game with a bully. In the story, after removing the monitor, the bully decided to pick on him. When Ender fought back, Ender kicked the bully in the face, but the movie showed that he didn't. In the story, a bat welcomed him into fairyland after killing the giant, but in the movie I remember that there wasn't a bat. In the book, Peter, Ender's brother, said he was sorry and loves Ender, but in the movie he did not.
I think Ender didn't kick the bully in the movie because kids probably watch this and it's not really appropriate for them to watch. And about the bat, I think the movie's just showing a little difference from the book.

A.      MANIPULATION  - Graff  lied to Ender in the story by not saying that Ender was going to save the world. Well, he didn't actually lie, he just didn't say the whole truth.  I think not telling the truth to young people (or to others) isn't always bad. It depends on what the truth is about and when you are planning to tell the truth. If you're not telling the truth when you do things wrong, that is bad. But if you didn't tell the truth because you don't want to hurt others' feelings, that may be fine, but you should tell the truth anyway because you won't want to make them look bad (if you are friends).

B.        COMPETITION - I think the purpose of having young people to join armies and fight each other is just helping them to know how to fight or to train them. I think competing with classmates is not quite helpful. You may try not to harm or hurt your classmates, so you won't be too into the game. But there are some times that your friend may become an enemy.

 (3) Favorite food for Mid-Autumn Festival

I don't care which kind. I just want the barbequed ones.

I really like singing. And Melanie Martinez is my favourite singer:)

What I enjoy reading is the story 'Hallucination'. The story takes place in the future. There's cool technology and the main character could talk to the living thing on the planet using telepathy.
